december 7th. he was off-dutt when he fired 13 shots at brown outside of a city nightclub in june. it allegedly happened after brown groped woman who was with the officer. officials at a baltimore school think they know who stole computers and equipment from them. school officials suspect former students could be to blame because the thieves seem to know exactly where the most valuable items were during the break-in. 17 new desk top computers and other equipment was stolen from the christian academy. what starts as nice gesture turns into a terrifying experience. a driver in ohio pulls up to a woman asking for directions, but when she approaches the car, the driver grabbed the purse. surveillance video captured the whole thing on tape. the woman was relentless not letting go of her purse. that is when the driver hit the gas, excuse me. that is when the driver hit the

loko when she crashed along st. michael road in easton. her truck went across the line and flipped several times.3 >> courtney was on the roadway when i found her face down. i don't want people going through what i'm going through losing a child just because of this drink. it's horrible. >> reporter: their local market pulled four loko off of the shelves after hearinn courtney's story. they are hoping that that is just the start. they're trying tooget the alcoholic energy drink bannedd3 here in maryland. so far four loko has been pulled off the shelves in michigan and also washington state. members of the city police own onunion turned out in huge s on thursday to reject a contract that consists of pay cuts in exchange for time off. 95% of those who voted said no to the contract. it would have given union

agreed to a 1.95 pay cut. they allo refused to make changes to the pension system. and they filed a federal lawsuit against the city along with the fire union. it claims officials under funded the pension for a decade and any changes violate heir contract. our offices is seeing tough times economically for the city and everyone else, but these are men and women who are expected to go out there and take a bullet. these are men and women who are expected to chase down violent criminals, get them off of the streets so we keep our children and citizens safe. just last year the union accepted 5 furlough days along with other city employees to try to reduce the deficit. the mayor said she was disappointed with the vote but she rrmains confident that an agreement will be reached. a request to postpone the trial of a baltimore police officer accused in the deadly shooting of an unarmed man as been approved.

the officer is facing first-degree murder charges in the death of ttrone brown. his trial was scheduled to start today, but both the state and the defense requested more time. the new date is now march 7th. prosecutors say the officer was off-duty when he fired 13 shots at brown outside of aacity nightclub in june. it allegedly happpned after brown groped a woman who was with the officer. officials at a baltimore school think they know who stole computers and equipment from them. school officials suspect former students could be to blame, because the thieves seemed to know exactly where the most valuable items were during the break-in. 17 new desk top computers and sound equipment was stolen from purpose and potential cris chrin arts academy. a $45 million lawsuit against a sheriff's deputy is going to trial. an appeals court hand down the decision this week. the family of gray is suing the deputy along with the sheriff's

office and the county, gray died after being tasered in november of 2007. the family's attorney sayy the trial could be scceduled s early as january. start, the ravens rallied in the second half of last night's game against the falcons to try to pulllout a tory, but their efforts wouldn't be enough. the team headed to atlanta just days after their last game. the 3rd quarter starred with the raven down 10-0 and soon it was 13-0 after joe flacco threw an interception that led to an atlanta field goal. they final leet got on board with a touch down. ú%d later trailing 20-7, flacco connected with ason nd pulling the ravens within 7 and within a minute left, the ravens took the first lead of the gaae, 21-20, but then the falcons responded

suit made out of metal and hydraulics. it makes everything wider, for every one pound the person inside exerts, the suit experts 17 pounds. it react to the force of a person's feet and its response ú%me issalmost immediate. this is a prototype. it's not ready to be used in the field particularly because of an obstacle and that is how to power the suit. chemical batteries are not an option and frankly they cannot power the suit long enough. a single cylinder gas or gas engine may be the answerment as the company continues to work on that issue, they continue to come up with uses for the suit in the field. here you can see ray theon artist of the uit helping to load munition and fuel on to an aircraft. they think that the suit could help prepare large vehicles like

go back to fox 45 morning news. 8:29 is the time. i'm patrice harris. good morning, i'm megan gilliland. we will check with meteorologist steve fertig and see how the weekend is shaping up. it should be a weekend. a lot of sunshine but the temperatures are as you indicated earlier not too bad. downtown we're in the 40s, well into the 40s, 48 degrees. if you look towarddhagerstown, 33 there. that's what we have seen all morning long disparity in temperatures. and we will see dry conditions as a result of very little moisture in place. a lot of sunshine comiig your way. sky hd radar indicating not much happeniig at all. in fact, nothing happening out there. clear skies, 51 degrees is where we're headed for the high. at least we will make up for a cool start for a nice afternoon. it should be a nice one in fact.
